proxSafe consists of highly configurable software that lets you assign permissions for users to retrieve keys from a secured key cabinet. Once permission is granted to someone in the software, the user can use either an access card or PIN to open the cabinet. Because of interconnectivity of the software and key cabinet, that PIN or card automatically indicates to the user which key they should take by lighting up the area surrounding the key.
Each key has an RFID keyTag attached to it which provides valuable data: who took the key, when was the key returned, how often has this key been used (valuable for equipment maintenance info), and more. This valuable data significantly improves accountability, security, and safety.

Smart, reliable key identification with keyTag
The heart of the proxSafe key management system, the keyTag is a fire-, corrosion-, and waterproof, impact-resistant identification device that attaches to each key. Leveraging the power of RFID, each keyTag has a unique ID which the system manages and tracks, 24/7.
Each keyTag inserts into a slot which lights up when the cabinet is opened, indicating which key the user should retrieve. keyTags make the process easy, convenient and secure.

Terminal C1
The compact terminal
The proxSafe terminal C1 is the simple and intelligent control unit for small key management systems as well as drawers and compartment systems from the proxSafe family. It comes with an administrator ID card to set up the system. Users can identify themselves via a proximity card or entering a PIN. At the terminal, the user selects the desired key using the integrated keypad. The proxSafe system guides the user to the appropriate slot.
The period of access authorization, the duration of withdrawal and the maximum number of removable keys can be set individually for each user.
Terminal C2
The compact terminal with display
The proxSafe terminal C2 is the simple and intelligent control unit for small key management systems as well as drawers and compartment systems from the proxSafe family.
Users can identify themselves via a proximity card or entering a PIN. The display supports the user in selecting the right key and guides the user to the appropriate slot.
The period of access authorization, the duration of withdrawal and the maximum number of removable keys can be set individually for each user.
Terminal C4
Compact and powerful
The proxSafe terminal is an easy-to-use and intelligent user
interface for all proxSafe systems. It is provided together with an administrator ID-Card to setup the System.
Users can be identified via smart card and/or by PIN entry.
After log-in the user selects the desired key either from a list of keys or simply by its slot number. The system will automatically guide the user to the corresponding key slot. The period for key access, the duration for holding the key as well as the maximum number of keys can be limited individually for every user. The proxSafe terminal allows quick returning of the keys. The user only has to present the key in front of the optionally available keyTag reader in the terminal. The terminal will identify the key and guide the user to the right slot.
Terminal C6
Powerful, with graphical user interface
The proxSafe C6 Touch Terminal combines the simple and intelligent operation of the proxSafe terminal with the display and operating functions of a 5.7″ color touch panel with capacitive touch screen. This allows the C6 to provide a user interface similar to a smartphone.
The touch terminal C6 is compatible with all key management systems as well as drawers and compartment systems from the proxSafe family. It comes with an administrator ID card to set up the system. Users can identify themselves via a proximity card or entering a PIN. At the terminal, the user selects the desired key using the integrated keypad. The proxSafe system guides the user to the appropriate slot. maxx – Compact and elegant key cabinet with automatic door
Secure your keys while making them more accessible with maxx. The cabinets’ discreet design make them ideal for mounting in high-traffic locations such as garages, loading docks, and corridors near employee entrances. With its streamlined appearance, all-steel construction, and automatic, steel roller shutter door, the maxx cabinet can blend easily in a corporate or industrial environment.
The maxx control terminal can be configured to require multi-factor authentication including smart card, PIN, and/or biometric for secure access.
maxx key cabinets can hold 32 or 64 keys and can easily be expanded with additional maxx or flexx cabinets, which can be controlled from the same access terminal.
